Buscan que ninguna persona en situación de calle quede sola en Navidad

Piden donaciones para poder distribuir las viandas durante el 24 a la noche y el 25 al mediodía.

Un grupo de amigos comenzó hace cinco años a tratar de aportar su granito de arena para tener una ciudad mejor. Con la idea de acompañar a personas en situación de calle que pasen las fiestas en soledad, nació Desvelados. Así, recolectan comida y destinan tiempo para poder charlar, escuchar y abrazar al sector más empobrecido de la población santafesina.

Se financian con alcancías solidarias dispuestas en distintos locales comerciales. Este año, con el dinero que se pudo recaudar durante todo el año darán un kit a cada persona esta Navidad: «Contiene un sándwich de milanesa completo con lechuga y tomate, un budín y un jugo. Es el puntapié para que nos presentemos y podamos quedarnos a charlar con ellos. Hoy logramos cubrir la totalidad de los kits con donaciones. Solo necesitamos algo de dinero para los gastos varios como bolsas de hielo, algunas cosas de papelería y lo más importante el combustible de cada vehículo que es lo más costoso y que nadie nos puede donar en material», explicó a UNO Santa Fe el activista Charly Sotil de Desvelados.

Y agregó: «Si bien sabemos que existen varias ONG en la ciudad que se encargan de asistir y llevarles un plato de comida, lo nuestro es más un acompañamiento haciendo hincapié en la charla, la escucha, hacerlos reír, brindarles un abrazo. Hablamos de su vida, de la nuestra, siempre tratando de llevarles un poco de esperanza y ayudarlos en lo que esté a nuestro alcance para que en lo posible puedan salir de esa situación».

Actualmente son casi 50 activistas en la agrupación, de los cuales 15 están activos constantemente para salir cada dos semanas. «Varía siempre dependiendo sus obligaciones hay muchos chicos estudiantes que en épocas de exámenes se les complica pero siempre tratamos de salir al menos un auto. Este año estamos reorganizándonos y afianzando el equipo de servicio con los que ya están en el grupo desde hace años, pero nos pueden escribir por privado a nuestras redes sociales ante cualquier intención de colaborar externa o internamente», respondió Charly ante la consulta sobre quién puede sumarse a colaborar.

En relación al establecimiento de contacto de las personas en situación de calle, Charly detalló: «Tenemos un diagrama y base de datos donde se encuentran algunas personas y también nos vamos informando en el día a día al caminar. Si alguno se cruza con alguna persona en situación de calle pone en el grupo la dirección y así vamos creando las zonas para recorrer». Además, informó que cualquiera se puede contactar a través de Instagram en @desvelados.stafe, en Facebook en Desvelados Sta Fe o por mail con desvelados.stafe@gmail.com.

«Algo a tener en cuenta es que con los años fuimos aumentando las salidas porque vimos la necesidad de las personas y también la nuestra de seguir entablando una relación amistosa con cada persona visitada. Hoy salimos cada 15 días durante todo el año no solo en Navidad», concluyó.
